This will be your mother plant and with good care you will get an almost unlimited supply of cuttings. Some growers like to take cuttings from all of their plants (before flowering) as a routine, especially if you are growing a lot of plants from seed.
These cuttings are clearly labeled to match the parent plant. When the mother plant is ready, it is possible to select the best and most suitable branch. Now your next young plant is an exact copy of your favorite mature plant.
1. To make the cut, you will need a sharp, clean razor, scalpel, or scissors. Sterilize the cutting edge with alcohol
2. Make the cut at an angle of 45 degrees, ie. Select a green branch with 2 or 3 knots (fanless). Avoid branches. Use a razor blade to cut the branch diagonally at an angle about 5-10 mm below the knot.
